Margie Camacho

Margie Camacho is an Arizona native, mother and grandmother. She has dedicated her life to caring for the least of our brothers and sisters. Her ministry began with her 22 year career working in the Diocese of Phoenix, including volunteer work at Catholic Charities. She served on the Survival School Church and Nonprofit Leadership Training staff for 30 years. Following retirement, she began a second career in fundraising for two international nonprofits, Friends of the Orphans and Esperanca. In 1991, she took her first trip to Guaymas where she was moved by the poverty she encountered. Margie considers it a blessing to be able to transform lives by providing essential services to the families and individuals who rely on Casa Franciscana Guaymas for assistance.
