Bringing Hope to Children’s Futures Through Shoes for School
During July and August, the mission Team travels to various locations first to its extension areas in Sonora, to ensure children have the necessary resources for school.
Preparing for the school shoe distribution requires significant effort, with the Team spending long hours searching for affordable shoes and often making multiple trips to ensure that every child receives a pair.
During the first week of distribution, the team will travel multiple days, driving up to three hours each way, and typically return before 9:00 PM.
A $100 contribution, which is just $8.34 a month, will buy 4 pairs of shoes. Your donation will significantly impact access to education for over 2,5000 children.
We encourage you to join us in making a difference in our children’s lives.

Children accompanied by their parents from four towns came to “Lomo de Mononcarit” for new shoes. Many walked for miles to wait in line for hours in the summer heat, just so their children could get a better life.

Here are the children who have recently come from the nearby town of Etchoropo, waiting for their turn.
Sandra Martinez, the Mission’s Vice-Director, helps Miquel try on the first shoes given today.
After the children finish receiving their shoes, Father Martin distributes medicine to prevent lice and other parasites common in the communities the Team visits.

In the future, I will keep in mind the tasks you have to complete for the emails. I have that figured out in my head. We will see how that looks, lol.
